Cheng-Wei Chen received his B.S. degree in computer science and information engineering from Yuan Ze University in 1995. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from National Tsing-Hua University in 1997 and 2002, respectively. He is currently a research scientist in the IC Design Technology Center, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. His research interests include object-oriented and parallel languages, the software for component-based environments, and compiler designs.
